EZ-Pay FAQs

What is EZ-Pay?

As a Season Passholder, you can pre-load money onto your passholder account. The same Digital ID barcode you use to scan in at the Front Gate can also be scanned at food and retail stands in the park and will automatically deduct the money from the EZ-Pay balance loaded onto your account. 

How do I add money to my EZ-Pay balance?

You can add money to your band from any mobile device or computer with a credit card or at the park wherever you see an EZ sticker by using a credit card. To load money, follow the same steps as you would to check your benefits or balance and once you enter the website, just click ADD Money. You can add money increments of $5. Add money now!

I have a season pass. How do I get discounts?

In order to get your Gold or Platinum in-park discounts on food, beverage, and retail, you must pay with your Digital ID season passholder barcode and pay for it with the EZ-Pay balance on your account. To add money to your EZ-Pay balance, you can go to wildwaves.com/mypass.

What's the difference between EZ-Pay and EZ-Band™?

EZ-Pay is the amount of money that is on your season passholder account. As of this season, we no longer offer EZ-Bands™ when someone purchases a season pass. However, the EZ-Band™ can be used as a passholder’s Digital ID to scan into the park and pay for in-park purchases. If you or a child has a season pass but do not have a cell phone, it is possible to speak with the Guest Relations office about acquiring an EZ-Band™.

I have an EZ-Band™ from a previous year, can I still use it?

If you purchase a renewal season pass using your member ID from a previous year, you can bring your wristband to Guest Relations and reconnect it to your account to use for the season.

Is it OK to wear my EZ-Band™ in the water?
Yes, the bands are intended for you to wear at all times and while they will absorb water, they will dry quickly. Water does not damage the bands.
How do I add money to my EZ-Band™?

To load money, follow the same steps as you would to check your benefits or balance and once you enter the website, just click ADD Money. You can add money increments of $5. Add money now!
What happens If I lose my band?
If you lose your band, you will need to go to Guest Relations to replace it. The replacement fee is $15 each time, and any EZ-Pay dollars you have on your band will automatically transfer to your new band. Since your picture is displayed each time you use your band (whether you are entering the park or purchasing a drink with it), the risk of someone else using your EZ-Pay dollars is very limited.
How do I know what benefits I have or how much money is on my band?
You can check your benefits or balance anytime on a mobile device or computer, simply go to the MyPass page and enter the code printed on the inside of your band, on the back of the EZ logo. If you have difficulty reading the number, simply hold it under a bright light or in bright sunlight.
If I purchased Season Parking, do I use my EZ-Band™ to redeem those as well?
Yes, those options have been added to your EZ-Band™. If you have a season parking pass you will simply show your band at the toll booth to be scanned.
How do I know which band belongs to which person?
Each band was assigned to a specific person with a photo and name. The pass holder’s picture will display every time you use your band. It is important that each person wears their own band. Inside there is a place to write the pass holder’s name. Fabric pens are available in Guest Relations for this purpose, or you can do this at home. Fabric pens should be used so that the name will not come off when the band gets wet (sharpies will not work). You can also go online to the MyPass page and type in the number on the back of EZ logo on the band to see who that band belongs to.
What happens to the money on my pass at the end of the season?

You can add or redeem the funds at select food or retail locations within the park where you see an EZ sticker. Funds may be transferred to another Season Pass at select locations. Please go to Guest Relations for further information. EZ-Band™ funds are non-refundable and are not valid for resale. When you renew your Season Pass for the next season, the money will automatically transfer. Online EZ Pay transactions are subject to a $2.00 online processing fee.

Do I have to wear my EZ-Band™ when I am in the park?
No, you don’t have to wear it while inside the park, but it will make buying food and drinks easier since you can load money onto your band. You will need to wear it to gain admittance into the park and to scan at the toll booths if season parking was purchased.
